Shower stools for more safety and comfort in the bathroom

Perhaps showering no longer feels as natural to you as it used to. Standing takes more strength, bending down is harder, or you feel unsteady when you turn. If you are worried about your balance, that is completely understandable. A shower stool gives you the chance to sit down and take care of your personal hygiene at your own pace.

When can a shower stool help?

After surgery or an illness, with declining strength or limited mobility, sitting while showering can relieve strain. It can help you manage your energy and feel safer – whether you use the shower stool only temporarily or permanently.

What sets simple models apart from Saljol shower stools?

Low-cost plastic shower stools offer a simple place to sit and can suit many people well. However, a plastic seat can feel cold and unpleasant when you first sit down.

Some simple models with legs can also feel slightly wobbly when you sit down. Especially if you already feel unsure in the shower, it is important to be able to trust the seat.

If you want more support and freedom of movement in the shower, well-thought-out features therefore make the decisive difference.

The Saljol shower stools, for example, can be turned on the spot. This lets you turn around effortlessly in the shower to reach the faucets or your care products. Relatives or carers can also support you better with your personal care this way, without having to step into the shower themselves or get splashed.

The seat halves can be adjusted inwards or outwards in three steps, so the seat fits your body shape ideally. The opening also makes intimate care easier, so you can take care of your hygiene more independently and with more privacy.

Height adjustment was deliberately left out: the fixed construction contributes to a stable stance when sitting down, standing up and showering. The open front frame makes it easier to sit down on the seat and stand up again straight and in a controlled way.

Looks play a role in the bathroom, too. With their homely design, the Saljol shower stools blend harmoniously into your bathroom. This way they not only look good in the shower, but also come across as a deliberately chosen piece of bathroom furniture.
